Position at a Glance

This position is at Evalueserve Chile within a multicultural team that specializes in discovering, developing, and delivering innovative solutions in the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence field. The team focuses on agility and creativity to respond to the rapidly changing demands and technology in the field of data analytics through leveraging machine learning, analytics, and visualization technologies.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Telling a story with data, offering thought leadership on different ways of displaying and interpreting analytical findings, and recommending and implementing best practices

• Designing and building tailored dashboard visualizations and defining required supporting data architecture (e.g., data marts, centralized data sources, ad hoc data sources, etc.) for internal clients

• Identifying statistical analysis techniques and visualizations required to deliver insights

• Collaborating with business partners for consultation and gathering requirements

• Participating in Evalueserve initiatives related to mind+machine projects, innovation, and training and development

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Math, Stats, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Operational Research, Computer Sciences, etc.)

• 1-5 years of experience in one or a combination of reporting, analytics, or business intelligence

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Demonstrated SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and database knowledge in order to analyze data across a variety of sources

• Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards from scratch using Tableau or Power BI and automate their delivery to various user groups

• Experience in relational database structures, system testing, and quality assurance methods

• Creative and innovative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts

• Experience with SSIS and/or other ETL tools

• Demonstrated ability to execute effectively in a matrixed organization, developing partnerships with various business and functional areas

• Expertise with Python, SAS, or R

• Experience in the Financial Services or Technology industry

• Experience working with Agile Methodology
