Jr. Software Support Specialist

Location: WFH Remote - All Latin American Candidates The Junior Technical Support Specialist will assist corporate and remote staff by providing quality customer service under direct supervision of the IT Manager and will be assigned various tasks related to the function of the Help Desk to include the following duties: As part of the team you will: -Installs, modifies, and

d makes minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems.
-Resolves tickets representing staff-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoots technical and process issues to maintain productivity.
-Maintains system functionality by testing computer components.
-Helps design and implement networks.
-As the first point of contact, provide customer service to all Help desk, support personnel, and fellow employees.
-Assist Help Desk customers with troubleshooting of computer-related issues such as virus removal/password resets/email setup/software installs and general IT problem solving.
-Maintain accurate records of completed and pending tasks.
-Escalate issues promptly to ensure timely resolution of incidents/problems. 
-Demonstrate good interpersonal skills in a professional environment.
-Inventory all IT equipment and maintain a working database of assets for reporting purposes.
-Assist in developing a more structured Help Desk request process by working with the IT Manager and installing Helpdesk software
-Provide hands-on assistance to the IT Manager in the event it is required
Key qualifications and skills to succeed in this role: 
-Intermediate/Advanced english
-4+ years of relevant experience
-Basic knowledge of networking principles and operating systems.
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
-Customer-service focus.
-Collaborative mindset.
-Hands-on problem-solving ability.
-Knowledge of script languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.
-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-The ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to non-technical employees.
