QA Automation analyst

Location: (Remote - Work from home) Overview of the Role: The Quality Assurance Automation Analyst works with the QA staff to perform planning, application testing and developing scripts using established automated testing tools prior and after production implementation. As part of the team, you will -Expand the existing test automation framework and test coverage -Provide assistance to the engineering team

in reproducing identified issues
-Follow industry standard application testing techniques and practices
-Create and document automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases
-Make recommendations about the improvement of the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the testing activities and processes
Key qualifications and Skills to succeed in this role: 
-2+ years of experience as a QA/Tester
-2+ years of experience in automation and manual testing (Python, OOP basic)
-Understanding of test design approaches and testing types
-Browser, infrastructure, and remote device testing (including debug tools)
-Web Services and REST Services
-System, Integration, Regression, and Functional testing approaches
-Source control systems and code branching methodologies (Git preferred)
-1+ years of experience working with MS SQL and\or Maria databases and tools
-Working knowledge and experience using Agile with Scrum methodology
