Position at a Glance

This position is within a multicultural team at Evalueserve Chile that supports a leading US retail bank through specializing in discovering, developing, and delivering innovative solutions in the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence field. The team focuses on agility and creativity to respond to the rapidly changing demands and technology in the field of data analytics by leveraging machine learning, analytics, and visualization technologies.

Responsibilities of this position will include:

• Supporting new and ongoing analytical and reporting projects and looking for potential improvements, solutions, and insights to answer business questions and aid with decision making

• Contributing to operational excellence by sharing knowledge and adhering to quality standards and best practices, ensuring the integrity of analyses through attention to detail and validation of data

• Partnering closely with stakeholders across the bank and being able to fully understand business objectives, underlying drivers, and client/business requirements

• Understanding and extracting data from different sources using different analytical tools to build reports and dashboards that are then presented to multiple types of stakeholders within the company

• Participating in Evalueserve initiatives related to Mind + Machine projects, innovation, and training and development

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Math, Stats, Finance, Engineering, Economics, Operational Research, Computer Sciences, etc.)

• 1-5 years of experience in one or a combination of reporting, analytics, or modeling

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Demonstrated SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and database knowledge in order to analyze data across a variety of sources

• Ability to manipulate large volumes of data and summarize them for key reporting or analytics projects

• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

Creative and innovative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of statistical and mathematical concepts

• Demonstrated ability to execute effectively in a matrixed organization, developing partnerships with various business and functional areas

• Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine-learning techniques

• Data visualization experience using a BI Tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

• Expertise with Python, SAS, or R

• Experience in the Financial Services industry
