Wordpress Developer

Location: Remote - Latin American Candidates *Do you have an active portfolio? Please share it, we will be reviewing the performance on both mobile and desktop Overview of the Role: We are looking for a WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. This position requires a combination of programming skills and aesthetics.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with the responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. Also, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred.
As part of the team, you will:
-Strong understanding of the latest industry trends influencing development direction and choices, including concepts pertaining to Google performance and scoring through Core Web Vitals, Page Speed Insights, and Lighthouse
-Formulate an effective, responsive design to create a working theme
-Manage all technical aspects of the CMS
-Design and implement new features and functionality
-Experience working with a range of development tools including Divi or Oxygen, along with themes like Ocean and Jupiter.
-Ability to switch from one instance of WordPress to another during any given working day valued.
-Comprehensive understanding of developing for user experience (UX) and aesthetics should be backed by programming skills.
-Use front end as well as back end development of themes, both parent and child
-Ensure high site performance and availability
Key qualifications and Skills to succeed in this role: 
-Intermediate - Advanced English
-Page speed performance
-5+ Years of Experience as a Wordpress Developer
-Experience using debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, and others available
-Interact with RESTful APls and formats (JSON, XML)
-Divi or Oxygen, along with themes like Ocean and Jupiter.
-Understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
-Knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
-Understand code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
-Knowledge in PHP back-end development
